Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25, 1970) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is that of Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant from the HBO series Big Love and Francine Hanson in the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress who is best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. She's also known for her TV roles, including the role of Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox's House; Danielle Brookson from the USA Network's Covert Affairs and Lura in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek was raised and born at home in Massachusetts. She was a student at Northwestern University, where her first role as an actor in a theatrical production called The Iphigenia Cycle. Dudek was honored with The Joseph E. Caloway Award for her exceptional performance in this New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek as one of ten theater actors to be watched. Dudek got roles on TV as well as on the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress, mother of two behind the camera, was her husband from the year 2008 until 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975, but grew up in Newton. In her early years, she was a student at Northwestern University. She appeared in many theater performances and made her Broadway debut with Wrong Mountain. Her performance on stage in The Glass Menagerie earned her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. The Book Group was the first British drama-comedy in which she appeared. In the years since, she has been a guest on a number of TV shows like Desperate Housewives, Friends The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. She also played Lucinda in the pilot episode of Psych. In the following episode, she was a high school teacher with romance with one of her pupils on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was offered her first regular role in House in the role of Amber Volakis. The character was one of the forty physicians Dr. Gregory House considered for permanent roles on his team. In the House's Heart and Head, a two-part season finale, her character was eliminated. In the following episode, she appeared in the show's episode Saviors in Season 5 as the hallucination of House. The character continued to be seen as this for the rest of the season. Dudek made an appearance in Mad Men, as the neighbor close to Francine Hanson. She also played an antagonistic wife for Alby Grant on Big Love. Both roles were regular. Dudek was a part of Covert Affairs in 2010, as Danielle Brooks. She is the character's sister. She also has appeared in movies playing the role of cruise-line heir Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
